As the Coronavirus situation continues to cause concern for buyers, particularly around continuity of service and supply chain issues, BiP Solutions’ Procurement Advice and Support Service (PASS) will be hosting a webinar on Tuesday 31 March at 11.00am, offering guidance to buyers across the UK public sector in dealing with such issues.
This webinar will consider the guidance issued by the Cabinet Office on Supplier Relief and also the criticality of having good communication channels and escalation procedures, to ensure open and transparent communication with all of your suppliers. The webinar will also look at the importance of assessing risk in certain contracts while looking at business continuity and contingency issues, in case of contract failure.

In light of the Coronavirus crisis, procurement is facing very challenging times. To help buyers across the UK public sector, BiP Solutions’ Procurement Advice and Support Service (PASS) will be hosting a webinar on Thursday 26 March at 11.00am.
The webinar will look at how buyers can use Regulation 32 to help with procurement requirements thrust upon their organisation through urgency.
The webinar will consider various issues, including when buyers can by-pass the normal procurement route for urgent requirements; seeking to engage faster with suppliers; ensuring you remain compliant; and extending current contracts where appropriate.
